PLANT‑0046 PLANTER
The PLANT‑0046 geometric planter presents a sculptural form through a trio of stacked toroidal volumes, each meticulously ribbed to articulate a rhythmic play of light and shadow. These continuous vertical fins wrap around each band, creating subtle undulations that emphasize the planter’s cylindrical silhouette while introducing a tactile pleating reminiscent of organic growth rings. Proportional harmony is maintained by calibrating the height‑to‑diameter ratio, ensuring the vessel feels grounded yet buoyant, whether displayed on a minimalist console or within a curated botanical arrangement. The narrow gaps between ribs generate negative‑space accents, inviting ambient illumination to sculpt layered shadows that shift throughout the day. Conceptually,
PLANT‑0046 frames greenery within a disciplined geometric envelope, allowing foliage to emerge like a living canopy over a dynamic architectural base. The sculpted rings echo natural stratification—akin to tree rings or sedimentary layers—drawing a poetic parallel between built structure and organic process. The matte finish underscores the purity of form, encouraging hands to explore its gently rounded contours and tactile relief. By merging rigorous modular geometry with the fluid vitality of plant life, PLANT‑0046 transcends mere containment to become an interactive object: a focal sculpture that engages both sight and touch, fostering a contemplative dialogue between human, object, and nature.

How are the planter made?
Modern 3D printing technology is used to produce the UPETAL 3DESIGN planter.
This is how the extraordinary and delicate structure of the planter can be created - while at the same time being very light. We paid particular attention to sustainability and quality when it came to the material used. - a bio-plastic made from corn starch - we have paid particular attention to sustainability and quality.

What material are the planter made of?
Although PLA does not grow on trees or bushes and is therefore produced synthetically, it is biodegradable due to its ingredients and is therefore a great alternative to non-degradable plastic with similar properties.

Why are high temperatures damaging the planter?
If the planter is exposed to high temperatures (e.g. in direct sunlight behind a window), the material can lose stability, causing the planter to warp. A series of tests carried out over a few weeks came to the conclusion that this can happen , but does not happen in every case.
However, we expressly point out that there is a possibility that the planter can deform at temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius.

Can I put water in the planter ?
